Interview with ISRAEL MUHOFA, Jr

What are you working on next?
I'm working on a project named 'Social Implications of Church based child projects'
Who are your favorite authors?
In the area of Christian Books I don't have a favorite yet. I consider all authors as contributors to social change whatever the topic may be.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I have a calling to serve. I believe that hard work pays and it enriches ones purpose of living and self worthiness.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Oh! That is interesting. I spend a lot of time praying or researching on the Internet for new ideas of spiritual nature. The world has gone wild so there is reason for one to look for useful information that can help you stay on track.
What is your writing process?
This is my first book which is purely Christian in nature. I have yet to discover my writing process as I work on the next book.
How do you approach cover design?
I believe in simplicity. God is a great designer but very simple in style. I think I shall be using simple covers what matters really is the content.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
This is my first attempt to e-publish, so I have discovered that it is possible to reach so many people within seconds of publishing. This is a great media of publishing.
Describe your desk
You wouldn't want to work on my desk. I have so many pieces of paper, books, magazines scattered everywhere. It's only me that can work on that desk.
When did you first start writing?
My friend I think I have answered this question already. This is my first book.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
There is a huge deficit of literary works on the African continent so this is my little contribution. I have just started.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Although I have just published my work, I believe it is a great resources for upcoming authors with limited resources required for publishing. Authors struggle and sacrifice a lot writing books, they should not be asked to pay for the cost of publication of their books because they create jobs for publishers.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My joy comes after the publisher has accepted to publish my work. It is useless to write if nobody is willing to publish your work.

The book seeks to meet the general pastoral needs by making available in a simplified way those existing forms of public prayer yet confining the service near enough to the original forms besides having the hymns, songs and choruses in some local languages.
