I had a dream about the characters in The Island of the Forsaken a few years ago and wanted to get them on paper since they were so vivid and real to me. The final product is very close to the dream that I had and I can't wait to see where the story takes me from here!
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are the biggest motivation and measure of my success. Without my fans, my books would have no purpose!
What are you working on next?
There is at least 1 sequel in the works, possibly a series in the future.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My son and my fiance. My family is my world, the reason I work and the reason I strive to add something positive to the world.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love to read and play with my son and my dogs. Once upon a time, I liked to paint as well but right now my medium is more baby food and dog drool!
What is your writing process?
I like to figure out my characters and let them help me write the story they are in.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love a good romance, police/military drama and fantasy with a little sci-fi thrown in!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Amazon kindle app.
Describe your desk
I don't have a set desk. Really, my work station is whatever is available where I am at the moment.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing The Island of the Forsaken 1.5 years ago, finished it 1 year ago and just finally finished editting it recently! This was a long term project!
