What's the story behind your latest book?

I have been inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov and so there are two story lines which interweave and through their interconnection you can learn not only the Russian language, but Russian history and culture too. It all starts from a Russian professor fleeing Russia after the 1917 Revolution...

What motivated you to become an indie author?

The opportunity to create the content as I saw it, following the methodology of Russian language teaching which I have successfully used for several years. Reading reviews by academics and practising teachers it seems like publishing my Russian language textbooks as I saw them proved to be right.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

I am thrilled by the idea that what I am writing now will benefit learners in years to come, that it will make their learning process a bit more fun.
