I started writing in high school just for fun. I never considered myself a writer or ever thought I would try to get published. I just had ideas (most of which were perverted) that I had to get down on paper. I've continued to write naughty stories for about 15 years and only recently discovered self-publishing. It is still strange that people are reading my dirty thoughts.

I don't have a strict process. Sometimes I'll have a complete outline of where I want the story to go before I write the first words. Other times, I'll start writing and have no idea where the story will end up. I prefer the latter because I get to go on the adventure with the characters not knowing what will happen next.
Sometimes I'll come up with grand ideas that need to be spread out into a series. Other times I will have a simple thought or emotion and expand on it.

Most of the time I write with my laptop on my lap in my bed. Sometimes I write on the couch, sometimes at the dining room table. A desk seems to stuffy for creativity to flow.

Yeah, it was pretty horrible. It was about an orphan who escaped from her orphanage and had wild adventures exploring the country.

I have a naughty imagination, so my covers almost always start out pretty graphic, and then I end up toning them down to be accepted on sites like Smashwords and Amazon. I tend to stick to the same font for my name, and get creative with the titles. I find or create a picture that represents the story's topic and mood. I try to incorporate the overall feel of the story into the cover design. For example I used Greek letters in the title for "The Naked Sisterhood" since it is about fraternity and sorority life. I'm pretty good with Photoshop and have some graphic design experience so I do all of my own covers.

I grew up in Roanoke VA. I tend to set my stories around Virginia, or at least on the east coast, because it is familiar to me. I guess growing up in a small town in a rural area was pretty boring and left me with a lot of time to daydream and fantasize. Maybe I have an active imagination because there wasn't much else to do.

Sometimes, but mostly they are fantasies. Occasionally I write about something I wanted to happen, but more often I write about things that I wouldn't want to happen, but are exciting at the same time. Writing about scary things is exciting in the sense that I don't actually have to experience them myself, and don't have to live with the consequences. My stories certainly aren't autobiographical, but there is a little bit of me in every book.

I put a little of myself in each of my characters, but I think Ashley from "The Naked Sisterhood" is most like me. Innocent on the surface but gets naughty very easily.

Angels of Avalon is quite a bit different from my other work, but I am in love with it. It is a sci-fi adventure about six college students who are victims of human experimentation. They realize they have new abilities which mimic superpowers. I first came up with the concept after watching a cheesy horror movie. Drawing from real-world events, I created a huge plot which soon became an epic. Angels of Avalon is the first of probably about six books. I've already written sections of several subsequent book and am excited to introduce readers to this world.

I am always working on a few projects simultaneously . That's how my crazy mind works. I'm working on follow-ups to some of my previous books, and a few fresh ideas.
