Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the South in the United States.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love the creative process: taking an idea, developing a storyline, refining the language, and finally, polishing the small facets that will make the story shine.
What are you working on next?
After recently completing Home Is Where the Heart Is - Adventures at Bell Buckle Inn 2, I am processing possible storylines for book 3. I am also close to finishing book 1 in The Writer Within series, What Kind of Writer Are You? This series is an instructional writing book for new writers.

When did you first start writing?
I began writing as a young girl, perhaps around eight.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've had hundreds of short pieces published in traditional places so I decided to bundle some of the stories together by genre and offer them as ebooks.
