Interview with Janine Infante Bosco

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work part-time in retail and take care of my 3 year old son. I have another baby on the way, due any day! I also have a passion for drawing and can draw practically anything.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I have discovered so many new authors through bloggers. I subscribe to many mailing lists and read reviews all the time.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first thing I wrote was a screen play.
What is your writing process?
I take a lot of notes. I brainstorm and I listen to music. Once my ideas aren't jumbled I run them by my sister-in-law, who shares my love of reading, and I make sure my thoughts intrigue somene else.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I can't tell you the first story I ever read because I started reading at a very young age. The first author who ever spiked my interest was V.C. Andrews. I remember being just a young girl taking out all of the books I could find in the library of hers.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Ipad. But I use Ibooks, Nook, and Kindle apps.
Describe your desk
My kitchen table.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Fitting The Pieces is the conclusion to the Riverdale Series. The story bleeds from one book to another and wraps in this last installment. It's about family. The family you are born into and the one you create along the way. It's about the ties that bind and it's real. I recieved mixed emotions from readers with the second book. My reasoning behind choosing that path is that it was realistic. I want the readers to feel what the characters feel, even when it's not the happiest of circumstances.
