Books that inspire. I enjoy books from many genres including spiritual, educational, fun stories, historical fiction, action & adventure, thrillers, supernatural, etc. For example I like the scriptures, books on business, Harry Potter, the Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables, books about anti-gravity, science fiction, etc.

I prefer reading on my LG G2 Android cell phone. It is super convenient and I always have it with me.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?

Describe your desk
Mostly clean :)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
San Diego, I grew up in a diverse community with people of all races, cultures and religions. This has me under estimating the current level of racism and division I hear from other people who grew up in other environments. I like to write in simple terms, not using 'big' words just because I can and project an air of false superiority.
When did you first start writing?
I got a journal when I was very young as a Christmas present. This began my writing.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's a memoir of my life experiences.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
This has been a much more direct and straight forward process. I have full control over my work and correspondingly receive a higher compensation for it.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords is a new distribution channel for me. I will be able to give an account of how it contributes or not to my success in the coming months.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to express myself and share my experiences with others to their benefit.
