Interview with Jenny Marlon, Jr

How did you come in the field of technical writing?
Since childhood, I always like to use all the tec related things, to read and collect their information. Either it is a desktop, laptop, galaxy, cell phone, or any other. When the latest models introduced in the market I tried to buy it first and to know about it. From that time I stared to write about these things. On the other hand, my elder brother Jeff is an experienced technical writer and online marketing analyst. As a leader, he guided me with all his support that's why I came in this field.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read all the blogs related to information technology such as smashing magazine, tech crunch, read write, etc because I feel pleasure that all the latest invention and development in technology should be in my knowledge.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I don't use any e-reading device. I just read blogs and even any document I have to read then I use Adobe Reader which reads pdf files.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in my home town, the great city Palo Alto in California. My parents provided me the whole environment to be a tec savvy. Also, I want to become a skilled technical writer like my brother Jeff and my parents are playing a great role to achieve my this aim.
When did you first start writing?
Well I remembered that I wrote my first article in 2007 when I was 15 years old. The topic was iPhone whose first generation was launched in that year.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Well I haven't written any book because my career is starting. In the future, I have plan to write many books.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My brother Jeff's personality motivates me a lot. He has much more information than me because he is experienced in this field. So I always follow him and think that I will become like my bro.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I must use smashwords in future when I will write books, because I explored this website and I found it very useful to write and publish ebooks.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Specially about smartphones and their applications either it is iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Samsung Galaxy, etc etc. I really feel joy when writing on one one of these.
What do your fans mean to you?
Ahhha :) My fans are not too much now, but the quantity is increasing. I think your fans are the biggest assets of you in terms of support because their like indicates to the whole world that how much you are able, popular and different from other.
