Interview with Jessica Jamshedji

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town Dahanu. The town didn't have a pizza joint or any cafes. I have always read my mom's mills and boons as a kid and that has inspired me to write.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing when I was fourteen. I started with short poems.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Its about a Mafia Boss and the innerworld.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It allows me to express my thoughts on taboo subjects and freely swear. Basically freedom of speech and expression. Hell I live in a democratic country.
What do your fans mean to you?
they mean a completely different world to me. they are like an extended part of my life.
What are you working on next?
i have yet to finish my book whose other chapters will be posted on
Who are your favorite authors?
Jane Austen, E.L.James, Charlotte Bronte, Sherlee burlee, Lynn Graham....
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
frankly it's the hunger for food and money.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm a dentist so yea i pull or repair teeth.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
pretty interesting and great to analyse people.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?

yes. it made me cry for over a week and made me believe in childhood love. book was MY Girl
