Interview with Lexi Summers
Published 2016-02-12.
Describe your desk
Completely covered in papers, cords, phone... Right now, there's a bottle of Windex, toothpicks (Why? I don't even know...), electrical tape (Good for just about any problem) and a small glass of whiskey. It helps with the creative process! LOL.
When did you first start writing?
I've been writing ever since I could! I move across all types of stories, though for some reason, I seem to have a talent for Erotica. I was pretty prolific with sexy notes and stories to past partners and every one said I should start publishing. Now that I actually am, I realize I should have started years ago!
What are you working on next?
As any of my readers know, I put out several taboo stories recently. I have several pen names and my most passionate subjects are Lesbian Erotica and Futa Erotica. I've been testing the waters with these stories as more of a break from my 'normal' (What's normal these days?) work, though I will get back to that shortly. When writing, even when it's something you love, you do get a bit burned out. It helps to take a leap to a completely different genre for a while before getting back to your core stories.
Who are your favorite authors?
Ok, I don't know how weird this is for an Erotica author, but... I'll start with Brian Lumley, a horror novelist from the UK. Vampires, ESP, supernatural, sex... He has it all! Brandon Sanderson, F. Paul Wilson and the Adversary Cycle/Repairman Jack books...
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Finishing. Completing a story, creating a cover and finally publishing. There's nothing better than hitting that publishing button and taking a drink in self congratulation!
