Interview with J.X. Nulud

When did you first start writing?
I first wrote a story in 2010, it was a writing assignment, and I enjoyed it so much that I realized that I love telling stories. That story is my Novel project, which is still I'm doing for about seven years now.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest, upcoming book is titled "Rajah Must Die". It is a social commentary of what is happening in my country, the Philippines right now. There is political turmoil that has divided the nation. I am excited to write and share this.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Because I want to write what story I want to tell, I don't want to be dictated how I should write things.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It's being able to share a story and someone will want more from you, it means they are excited and they like your work.
What do your fans mean to you?
I don't know if I have any fans now, but if I do, they mean the world to me, I want to meet and talk to every single one of them.
What are you working on next?
I have 2 short story projects in line. The first is "Rajah Must Die" which is a Social/Political Commentary, and the second is "Pork Chop" which will be written in Filipino, it is a Tragicomedy.
How do you approach cover design?
Simple but beautiful, with character.
What do you read for pleasure?
History books, Biographies, Pol Medina Jr.'s Pugad Baboy Comic Series
