We have an epic novel in work about a sex club founded by adolescents. A true story, we aren't of course able to write about their sexual relationships begun as kids. Still, we will begin there and tell how it got started, how the kids grew up together, and where they are today. There will be explicit sex in the volumes once the kids reached the point of age it is legal to write about their exploits.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The subject of incest isn't popular and rarely spoken of except in disgust and usually rightfully so! We have found ourselves in a rather unusual situation and know of others who feel the same way. We wanted the world to know of this and encourage and support others in situations similar to ours.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Our work would be difficult to market and distribute, at best. Smashwords made the process simple and effective.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Working as father and daughter is the top of the heap! Having the honor to write of things most wish to avoid is also very compelling.
What do your fans mean to you?
Our fans mean a lot, especially those who wish for more than titillation. We hope for a core fan base who by word of mouth will find out incest isn't always a bad thing. We also embarked on writing stories outside of incest simply because we enjoy working together as a father-daughter team. Fans who like us purely for our writing will hopefully enjoy our departure into other subjects.
What are you working on next?
Our next work is a science fiction novel called The Diesel.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I don't want to! My daughter is a very compelling person to be in bed with!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
If you read our book Semen for Susan, you'll already know it's sailing. If you followed up with our sequel Semen for Susan, Cindy, and Judy, you'll know it's our polyamorous lifestyle and raising our kids.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
We pick up on authors we like or else are searching for a particular subject.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes! A father and daughter writing together can hardly forget that!
What is your writing process?
Ours has been mostly very structured when writing true stories as fiction. It's been like painting by numbers. Our venture into other subjects has been mayhem, but we're working on it!
