What do you read for pleasure?
I really enjoy reading business books. If I read a pleasure book I would probably go with something biblical based.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a nook that I bought several years ago that I like. I also have a Galaxy Notebook 10.1 that is Kindle based. I really enjoy the way a books feels in my hand, and only use my Nook for business books.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I have put the book everywhere and updated my Amazon account with all the info possible. My niche is very small and I will be creating some landing pages and give aways.
Describe your desk
A hot mess. My desk has some files on top, sticky notes everywhere and soy sauce in the drawer.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Dunedin, Florida. My military career is what started my quest for higher learning and process.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2012. I write every night, I get very strategic with my writing and want a purpose to my words.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I created this manual to help my salesmen. I then took the training and created this book to help them with a system. If your a contractor of any kind this book will setup a foundation for sales success.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wanted to help as many contractors as possible. This book will help spread the word.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords gets your info everywhere that Amazon will and wont. I will update everyone about the success.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My escape, sets my mind at ease after long days.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are the reasons why I write and publish. I want to sincerely help people with no motive.
What are you working on next?
Contrapreneur is the next book. A combination of talent and entrepreneur skills.
