Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York in the Red Hook Projects, But after years after leaving the projects I soon realized how I lived and where I came from, and thought about writing " NEVER WOOULD HAVE MADE IT". while I was in afghanistan
When did you first start writing?
my first thought of writing was basically in 1977....writing thoughts on a pad....I kept a log called food for thought" then while in Iraq I thought of the trials and lifestyles of where this war was going. and after being saved by my pastor Emma L Creamer from the Cathedral of Fresh Fire, I learned how to pray and be thankful
What's the story behind your latest book?
After all the trials and tribulations of being in the military and how I grew up I am thankful and wanted to express my thankfulness because I never would have made it with God in my life, not man or anything else
What motivated you to become an indie author?
my prayerful moments have motivated me
