Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up around my Grandmother and she read all the time. When I got old enough to write on my I started writing anything. Now that I am older, it worked out great because I love to read, and I write every day.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Ryder has been hurt by the woman he thought he was going to spend the rest of his life with, but she cheats on him with someone close to him, and then he goes through hell after that. Ryder is going to have to figure out what he wants and take it.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love this genre and when I try to writer others, it does not work out. hehehe
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Figuring out a good plot and the right characters to fit with that plot, I love to sit and daydream of what I want to write about, how it is going to, what I want each character to have, and so on :)
What do your fans mean to you?
I love my fans, without them I would not be able to call myself an author. It means a great deal to me that I am able to chat with my fans.
What are you working on next?
I am starting the second book in the series.
Who are your favorite authors?
Sandra Brown, Setephen King, and Nora Roberts to name a few, and my favorite that I have met on the web would have to be Sarah Hitchcock and C.E. Black, great women. I know there is more of you, but I can't think right now.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend a lot of my time with children, being the mother of five, I run out of time. We play board games, watch TV, they dance and sing to music, or we can just talk a walk. My kids love that.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Through friends, looking through amazon, smashwords, and seeing it posted on facebook.
How do you approach cover design?
Very gently, lol. No, I am the type of person that tries to learn everything, so I am trying to learn to make my own cover. Ask me again later how it is going :)
