Interview with Kent LeFevre

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to spend time in the Outdoors. Hiking, Camping and Exploring. As a Landscape Photographer, I never leave home without my camera.
Describe your desk
My desk is always clean. I can't stand a cluttered desk!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was about five little babies that did what babies do best, discovery of their world.
Who are your favorite authors?
Mark Twain, Brandon Mull, Rick Riordan
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read was a book that I purchased for maybe thirty-five cents from the school library. The book was called: The Carrot Seed, by Ruth Krauss. I still have my copy of that book after all these years.
What is your writing process?
I find that my writing goes in spurts. Like waves, somewhat consistent, but always harboring an element of change.
What do you read for pleasure?
I'm a history buff. I really like to sink my teeth into a Historical Fiction book or a Factual History book that deals with the past 200 years or so.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up with the wide open spaces of the Southwest at my door step. Every weekend was a new adventure.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Call me old-fashion, but I use the Computer.
When did you first start writing?
I've always had a strong background in writing. I began publishing books for the Children's market in 2010. Since then, I have published over a dozen titles.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on a new Science Fiction trilogy that intertwines Greek Mythology and the "can-do" spirit of a few main characters. - More updates on this project later.
