What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
What inspires me is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and how much He loves us. He did what was impossible for any human being to do and saved the world from its sins. He showed us how to be kind and gracious to each other and that it is good to show compassion for all human beings. He proved compassion is a strength, not a weakness. I am excited to have opportunities to love, encourage, and help people every day in any way I can.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I enjoy creating things and sharing the fruits of my labor with others. I have read over and over again how difficult it is to get published the traditional way, so this seemed like the easiest avenue to get my book published. I believe God opens doors, and this was an opportunity I could not pass up.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love spending my time with my family and friends. They are so important to me. I also enjoy reading, learning new things and exercising (at least the euphoric feeling you get after a good workout).
Describe your desk
It's much neater now than it has been. I can see the majority of the desk top which is a good sign, right?
What do you read for pleasure?
The Bible, inspirational books that motivate and are positive, and almost anything educational.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
The current e-reader I have is Amazon Kindle on my phone. Whether or not it is the best platform, I don't know because I haven't tried the others. But so far I am happy with it.
