What motivated you to become an indie author?
Wanted to get my work before the public without relying on the tastes and views of agents and publishers.

A follow up novel for the characters in The Pilgrims' Bounty

Lee Child, Stephen Leather, Peter Ackroyd, William H Ainsworth to name but a few
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Usually my Siberian Husky gets me out of bed, inspired or not.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
With my family and my dogs
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I tend to read paperbacks rather than ebooks
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I do. It was a collection of the works of H.G. Wells and I enjoyed it thoroughly
How do you approach cover design?
With Imagination based on the story within
What do you read for pleasure?
Historical Novels and Detective Novels. It's a genre I like to read as well as write.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in London and I've never lost my love for the place. I am fascinated by it's old buildings and the history that they must have seen.

At Junior school
