What's the story behind your latest book?
Life experience. And I enjoy writing stories about strong women.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The urge to tell a story.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Having someone read one of my books, whether they like it or not. Reviews mean a lot to me.
What do your fans mean to you?
I would never sell anything without them.
What are you working on next?
A mystery/romance set in Arizona. An ex-cop goes from Chicago to Arizona to visit a friend and finds he has been murdered.
Who are your favorite authors?
Sandra Brown, Alexandra Sokolof, Michael Connely, Tami Hoad, John Sandford - and the list goes on.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?

How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Mostly I listen to them on audible while I'm painting.
How do you approach cover design?
i want it to give a feeling for the story.
What do you read for pleasure?
Everything.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My Nook.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Utah, in an orphanage and with several relatives of my step-father. It was a very lonely childhood and has definitely influenced my writing.
