I grew up in Minnesota. The location did not affect my writing at all, I saw a lot of dysfunctional relationships as a child. I always wondered was that what it was really like. When I started to read romance novels as 10, it gave me a different perspective on love.

I was 10 years old. I started writing stories in my journal. I was not writing for the "public view" until I was 38

Dr. Nya Black is smart and sexy pediatric neuro-surgeon at the top of her field. Raised in the Deep South Nya sees has seen the worst of racism, so does not trust white people. Her best friend Vixen is married to a white man. So Nya has had to do something she swore she would never do. Let go of some of her anger and attempt to stomach their presence in her life. Until he meet Dr. Nya Black. Dr. Black is a sexy, curvy , feisty woman that thinks he is too stupid to live. Not ever being one to be attracted to a curvy opinionated woman. Sal cannot figure out why he cannot get Dr. Black out of his head. Sal hatches a plan to get Dr. Blacks attention it involves a very special patient of Dr. Blacks.

I want to have control over if my creation is seen by the public. While I agree that publishers know how to sell a book. I think that sometimes they do not know what the audience really wants. So I thought as an indie author even if its not a lot of readers. I will be able to give at least SOME readers a book they would like to read.

Smashwords gives me another venue to publish my books.

I love expressing myself through words. I love my characters, they are almost like family to me. I love sharing all of my crazy thought and some experiences through the medium of books.

I am working on the 3rd book in my series. Which is Phoenix Rising. I am also writing a short love story about the couple that is in Dr. Black's Patient. How the relationship continues after the end of Dr. Blacks Patient

My Children. I so love being a mom, I am so honored to be allowed to be there guide through life. I want to leave a legacy of pride in who birthed them.
