What are you working on next?
I'm working on a book that exposes the psychology that goes into the design of grocery stores that make you spend more money without you even knowing it.
Who are your favorite authors?
I love Nora Gedgaudas, Jonathan Bailor, Mark Schatzker and Sean Croxton
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I love sharing information and trying to help people. I like creating blogs and podcasts and sharing them with as many people as I can! Also parfait gets me out of bed each day...
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Run my website, podcasting, fitness, play hockey, play drums, and I dance like no one is watching.
What do you read for pleasure?
it's probably boring to most people but books on deep nutrition science
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like the kobo e-reader
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Book promotion lists and going on other peoples podcasts. I tried carrier pigeon but that's not working so well
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in London, Ontario and in England. I think this helped give me some different perspectives and ways at looking at the world that are unique to both those places.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's a way for someone to learn about all the big areas that are crucial to understand if you want to get healthier. It covers nutrition issues, sleep, water, protein, junk foods, you name it. When you get a better grasp on these issues you are able to make much smarter decisions as it applies to your health and wellness.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
After I saw how successful other indie authors had been. I had no idea this is something you could do yourself

A mess. But I use a few different ones depending on how productive or unproductive I am at that particular time
