Interview with Chris Sausser

What's the story behind your latest book?
Quantum evolutionary leap! Sounds crazy, but that's what we are experiencing right now. I was always attracted to paranormal subjects. As a child my mom had paperbacks around the house about Edgar Cayce, UFOs and by authors such as Ruth Montgomery. I read them when I was about 11 or 12. We talked around the dinner table about prophetic dreams my gram had and other phenomena. In 1976 I read Seth Speaks, channeled by Jane Roberts and that catapulted me into a new realm where I first heard 'your thoughts create reality.' The book was highly intellectual and talked about parallel universes and things I never considered. I knew it came from a higher intelligence. From there I jumped into my own independent study of 100's of books along with workshops and trips to sacred places around the world. After 33 years, I needed to share what I learned with a planet on the verge of a shift in consciousness. I wrote a crash course in spiritual evolution. The luxury of time gone, it is the hour to grasp the findings of quantum physics and move into the future of the gift and responsibility of creating a beautiful life on this planet. The possibilities are endless. STEP INTO THE LIGHT !
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I have such a sense of urgency about my message, as the energy flooding the planet is strong and change is at hand, that I love to connect with others awakening to the shift. My blog at www.readyornothereitcomes.wordpress.com connects with people around the planet. In the last three days, people have read my blog in Cambodia, Kenya, Chile and Brazil! Can you imagine? In 90 days, there was a list of about 30 countries that I connected to. The whole point of the shift is that we are all ONE, united in the love and light of creation. To be able to so easily connect with people around the planet is awesome!
What do your fans mean to you?
I don't consider that I have fans. If anyone is following me, it is my honor to share whatever I know, my energy and love for humanity. And I don't feel that I know it all. I am constantly reading and following other Lightworkers to tap into the pulse of this incredible evolution we are part of. As we create our own reality, it can change on a daily basis. Given quantum physics, maybe there are seven billion different realities, all connecting in one way or another. Maybe mine is different than yours, but if they are all based in love, THAT is what is important.
What are you working on next?
I am very excited about a quantum healer and would like to bring his work to the world. He is the future now. Let's see if spirit agrees and gives me this opportunity.
Who are your favorite authors?
My taste runs to spiritual non-fiction, but sometimes I just want a good story that I can melt into. I read the five Game of Thrones books by George R.R. Martin. They're fabulous - what a storyteller! I love Amy Tan, Salman Rushdie, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sandra Cisneros, Dan Brown and Starhawk, among so many others. In spiritual non-fiction, the list is endless,

including Drunvalo Melchizadek, the Abraham books by Esther Hicks, James Redfield and his Celestine Prophecy books, the Seth books by Jane Roberts, Patricia Cori, David Wilcock and too many more to name.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
LIfe! I love life and this crazy creation we are all a part of. I adore the planet and her natural wonders. I love to eat and travel, experience art, music, friends and the reasons go on and on. And I want to make the world a better place in whatever way I can - I want to hold and anchor the light coming in to assist with the transformation of the planet.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am always exploring ways to get my message out to the world to assist with shift in consciousness - and I try to have some fun along the way!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I always have my antennae up for anything I think I will enjoy either for pleasure or knowledge. I am connected with so many things on the interent - as I think we all are - and hear about so many books.
What is your writing process?
When I know it's time to write, I just sit down and it flows. I wrote READY OR NOT HERE IT COMES in four and a half months by sitting at the computer everyday, Sundays included, from about 8:00am until 8:00pm and sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes I would wake up at 3:00am and have an idea and I knew if I didn't get up and turn on the computer, that I wouldn't remember in the morning.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I remember the books I read as a child and young adult, including the Nancy Drew mysteries and Once and Future King. I would read, read, read for hours until I finished. I still do that. When I read the Martin books, I would read until the middle of the night and my eyes closed.
Describe your desk
My desk is lovely. It is a computer stand with my desktop above, surrounded by beautiful things. A print of protea blooms from Hawaii hangs on the wall above the top shelf. It has nooks and crannies to put journals and the like. Next to it stands a seven-foot bookcase crammed with books, photos and interesting things, like a large dreamcatcher and parts of my egg collection. Around the computer screen I have hanging a lovely drawing done by my daughter when she was young and an image of Lakshmi. I have a salt lamp that was mined in Pakistan from salt 250 million years old. A small statue of Kwan Yin graces the middle of the shelf and there is a crystal and candle. A large gorgeous shaker made from a gourd, painted and beaded with indigenous design, hangs on the side of the bookcase. More bookshelves are above the computer with a piece of red coral, a Huichol beaded necklace, eggs and more books, of course! Lastly, a three- dimensional star tetrahedron hangs above me in the window beside the desk.
