My teenage diary, filled with dreams of romance with a tall, dark stranger, who would sweep me off my feet.
Who do you write for?
Posterity. I like the idea of being able to remember life's special moments. Exciting trips, extraordinary moments, first love, coming home with your newborn child. As I get older, it's the simple things in life I enjoy more.
What is your desk like?
A mess, like my house and my hair.
What is your dream?
To publish a book with my family.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Teenage multi-cultural battles in a forest.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The pleasure of writing, of creating a story and watching it develop on its own.
What do your fans mean to you?
You mean I'm going to get fans...? like fan mail, etc...?!
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, Lee Child, Victor Hugo, JK Rowling and many many more.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I should say Life.... the prospect of finishing another chapter, my kids..... but actually it's my dog. I get up to take her for a walk so that she doesn't breathe down my neck all morning.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Teaching, preparing lessons, walking my dog, enjoying the forest, reading and spending time with my kids.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Browsing through my Kindle. I love to browse and read samples or look at best selling lists.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No, too long ago.
What is your writing process?
Paper & pen. Word doc and type.
How do you approach cover design?
Hhmmm... not sure.
