What do your fans mean to you?
They mean a lot! I have made many wonderful new connections from the books that I've written. I've been approached with unique and meaning full compliments as well as a few questions about their skip trace cases.

Skip Trace Scenarios will review my past experiences of solving difficult cases.

Steven Kerry Brown who has The Complete Guide to Private Investigating
John Locke - anything he has
Michelle Dunn - She is the authority on collections and has many books on various topics of the industry
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
A special man!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
DIY home projects and piddling around Lake Conroe.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Usually by searching key words that I'm either researching or recommendations by associates.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, in the first grade I wrote my pet stories.
What is your writing process?
A very scattered and slow one.
How do you approach cover design?
I tend to lean towards my favorite colors, red, black and pale blues. I like shopping artists. I'm not a big fan of stock photography but sifting through pictures on a keyword search can be inspiration.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My iPhone and Galaxy Tab
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
LinkedIn, my blog and Twitter.
Describe your desk
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Houston, Texas and although I don't miss living in the city, I am definitely a city girl with city taste. Big city life also led me to meet people from all walks of life and I think that would enrich anyone's life experiences with respect to writing style.
