Published 2014-05-26.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To do what God mandated me to do. To carry His gospel to the nations. To speak the truth about Christ to all nations across the world that His name maybe glorified by all.
What do your fans mean to you?
They are my world. I consider them gifts from God and I love them. I will do my best for them to get the real truth of God.
Who are your favorite authors?
TD Jakes, Joyce Mayer, Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe, Prophet Eubert Angel, Stephen King, Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill and many more.
Who inspires you?
Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe of Heartfelt International Ministries does so. He is a great man of God who gives me real revelation and truth from God.
What are you working on next?
I am working on two projects full of Christ's truth. Both are coming soon.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The passion to write gives a reason to be believe each will be better as I live to fulfill my purpose.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I have time with family, my loved one, reading and praying. I love travelling a lot too.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was about a young man born and bred in Zimbabwe, desiring to see great transformation through invention of new things never been seen or heard of in world history.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I read a story called Borklea, I was about 7 years old. That's the one i still quite remember but i had been reading even before but this story was about a stupid pig. Often wanting to be a hero, all would end him up in great trouble. The story triggered a lot of desire in me to write and I started doing so.
How do you approach cover design?
Cover design is very critical. It is like what you wear before you come before people or an interview. people do judge books by their covers in reality. I try to portray what I am talking about in my book but at the same time it has to be of high quality.
Describe your desk
I am an author, a pastor, a poet, a blogger, a speaker and a publisher. Giving information is my sole trade. I love it. Though i am professionally a systems developer but focus is now on the above.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe, a place 20 KM out of Harare the capital city. Its a beautiful place with lovely and welcoming people. In such an environment you can get inspired to write a lot. Especially in poetry, i had a lot of stories to tell, emotions and feelings to express. I will cherish the place, it sharpened my mind in writing.
When did you first start writing?
I cant really remember maybe around 7 years old.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Indie authouring is the way to go. I do appreciate traditional ways of publishing but as for me, for a start it was hard. All i had was laptop and a grain of faith. Indie authoring became my lee way to the world, thanks to Smashwords.com. Thank you Mark Cook.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Greatly, the first day i activated my book, it had 40 views. I was shocked. Oh my God its already happening. the world is opening up to me. I was happy. Smashwords was great.
