How do you approach cover design?
I design my own covers. The approach is simple. Being an artist I use the talent God gives me to produce book covers.

My desk has a computer where I write my books with a lamp and an additional table to hold my reference books.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Baltimore City and I was influenced early in life to write but I just recently decided to publish my books. In grade school I finished my test papers so quickly that I had plenty of time to write what was on my mind. I had no paper to write on so I wrote many paragraphs on the back of the test papers. My teacher was astonished and encouraged me to keep writing.
