What is your writing process?
Some planning, some flying by the seat of my pants.
Describe your desk
What's the story behind your latest book?
Coldhearted was born from the question: What if the bad guy can't be killed?
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Years and years and years and years of rejection by literary agencies.
What do you read for pleasure?
Books that are silly and books that are serious.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I currently work as an accounting clerk, so I have a "day" job. After work and on weekends, I read, write, play video games, and surf the internet.
How do you approach cover design?
Cover design is frustrating. I have to get the "essence" of my story on the cover. It all depends on the story. For Coldhearted, a story about ghosts, I could've had a "ghostly" figure or a haunted house or something dark and ominous, but I opted for simplicity: a heart.
