When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like watching TV , sometimes I prefer reading detective novels or other romance novels. Though I'm a very bad cook still I try my hands in that .
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
yes It was story based on a fictional character called Kara and her alien friend. I was 7 then. Those days I was quite interested in scientific movies or science fiction stories.
What is your writing process?
My stories mainly consist of characters whom I face in my daily life and suppose I want to change their lifestyles a bit, I manage to do that in my stories. I first start planning of what will be the main body and the conclusion and then start with introduction part.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
It was a fairy tale, the book consisted of many fairy tales. I really dream t to be a fairy for a few days unless my mother took the task of building me to the real world.
How do you approach cover design?
The cover designs are completely based on the theme or characters of the book. I make it a point that the designs should be eye catching.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
This is really a difficult question.Lets see I like Pride and Prejudice because of its plot , the way Elizabeth was against Mr. Darcy and gradually falls in love with him.My next choice is A brief history of time by Stephen Hawkins, I am very curious about the astrophysics and the universe so this book is obviously one of the best.Next book is an autobiography by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam- it inspires me a lot. The third and fourth books are A stubbornly persistent illusion by Albert Einstein and Chitralekha by Rabindranath Tagore
What do you read for pleasure?
I cannot say pleasure but a hobby of mine is to read romance comedies
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle, is probably the best from my point of view.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a hilly region filled with natural beauty its a peaceful place in the North Eastern region of India called Assam. It helps keep my mind calm, I can add scenic beauty in the plots.
When did you first start writing?
First I started with poems I wrote a lot of them , but usually got bored and then I discovered my passion for writing stories.I was 7 years old then.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Its a detective romance partly comedy. A journalist who loves her family friends turns into a cold mysterious person. Her actions will risk her love, her family. She has friend who is always helpful and acts like a big sister.
