I write because I have to. It's an intrinsic need to purge myself of all the stories and voices in my head. I know that sounds crazy but when the muse visits the writing is easy -- and I love that!

I've got a few projects in the pipeline: One is an anthology of my flash fiction thrillers and horror which is in final edits and expected to be available in April 2020.
I'm in full-blown editing mode for an alternative historical romance loosely based around 10th century medieval England, where treachery abounds and no one can be trusted, not even each other. Finally, I've got a flash fiction piece which is being adapted for a horror comic book.

I'm either working, writing or networking across several traditional and blockchain-based social media platforms. I love to read and blog, spend time with my wonderfully supportive husband, play with my two rescue dogs, and do a lot of cooking. Words for soul, food for the body.

I think it was in the fourth or fifth grade. One of the first impactful books I've ever read was Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell. I remember how much I related to the stranded girl - how alone I often felt. I was inspired to find creative outlets to stave off the loneliness and hide the awkward, shy kid that I was.

Romance, Psychological thrillers, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi - pretty much in that order.
