When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to make model steam trains and I am trying to learn to play a banjo.

I try to write 3 pages every day.

My son does it.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I like books by, Frederick Forsyth, Stephan King, Dick Francis and Raymond Chandler. Their stories keep me interested.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in Yorkshire and the mines, mills, and the people and all combined together with the times I lived to be the biggest influence on my writing.
When did you first start writing?
When my sister gave me some chalk.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A witch out for revenge on the soldier/wizard who defeated her two nasty sons.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The challenge.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Finishing a story.
