What is your writing process?
I like to write in a notebook, seated in a very comfy recliner, with my two cats sitting nearby.
Do your cats make a receptive audience?
YES, especially when I'm drinking catnip tea. They are always willing to assist finishing it.
How do you approach cover design?
With apprehension, but I'm learning. Although I'm currently using stock covers, I hope to start making my own from pictures I've taken.
Describe your desk
I don't have one . . . and where would the cats sit?
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Southern California, and we went to the library every week. In fact, my first real job was in a library! I enjoyed reading so much, but often wishing for different endings, and writing gave me control. That must be it - I'm a control freak!
When did you first start writing?
I entered a writing contest at school in the 4th grade, and won.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Right now I'm working on a collection of LGBT Christmas stories. Everybody needs love during the holidays.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I've heard a lot of good things about Smashwords from M.T. O'Neil, a close friend of mine. Here's hoping for success for all of us.
What do your fans mean to you?
Well, I haven't got any yet, but if & when I do, they will mean the world to me.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The avoidance of being pounced on by two cats who want breakfast on time.
