When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing, I can typically be found hanging out with my family or playing with my dogs. I also love trying new restaurants so if a place is known for teally good food, chances are you will eventually find me there!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
The ebooks that I have read and am reading I found by searching "romantic mystery" "female mystery " or "comedy mystery" since those are my favorites.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was about a girl newer to a neighborhood that had a hard time making friends. One night, close to halloween she meets a boy at the playground and he shows her his house. She invites him back to hers but when she unlocks the door to go, he vanished. She explains this to her mother who laughs explaining no one has loved in that place for years because a little boy died there.
What is your writing process?
I am someone who likes to nust sit down in front of my computer and write. During the day I will write down notes as they come to me of ideas to create, or things to go back and change!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Barney Beagle. I have the edition still, it is quite old. It is a simple book abour a dog wanting to be adopted by the right boy. It goes through and explains over and over again as he sees others get adopted that they were not right for him until finally he gets adopted by a nice boy that the shop owner didn't even care did not have enough money to pay for him. I love it. We all look for our special partner throughout our lives and some of us are lucky enough to find them.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Camilla Chafer's entire series of Lexi Graves. I love everything about them.
Liliana Hart Whiset series, again absolutely love the entire storyline.
That is more than five books, it is 2 of my favorite series.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I own a kindle fire, and also read in my galaxy s5 with my kindle ap.
Describe your desk
I do not have one. I keep all my ideas and things in a mess inside my purple briefcase. I write in ny husbands recliner which he is nice enough to let me use.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I may one day decide to try the traditional publishing route but fir now it was due to time. Being busy all of the time didn't leave room to go through that process. I love that this way I can publish as I write!
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Hopefully it will help me broaden my customer base! It also is how I found my cover designer.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. Without your support I couldn't continue to write and share my stories. I hope to increase my skills and give you better and more options as I grow!
What are you working on next?
Missed Opportunities in the Windy City book 2
It will dive in to the lives of the charcters as well as the case they are working on. This book wilk have mote details and will be more involved.

I leave that up to the designer. I do have plans to incorporate Chicago in to the next cover as well though.
