Interview with Michael David Wall, Jr

What is your writing process?
Sometimes I like to walk a bit and look at Nature. Sometimes I like to look at the blank computer screen before me; and just let the words flow. But, every once in a while; I take a break outside to get fresh air. Sometimes too: I like to look at the people walking by; and maybe wave and say: "Hi.". Sometimes they say :"Hi." back; sometimes they don't. But, I find that by looking at People walking by; without being creepy; and or looking too long; it is inspires me for stories.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I actually remember the first song my parents ever sang to me: "Dinah, don'tcha blow; Dinah Don'tcha blow your Horn.". But, one of the first songs that somehow got me writing was by Naoko Takeuchi; creator of Sailor Moon; and Naoko Takeuchi owns all rights to the series: "Fighting evil by The Moonlight".
How do you approach cover design?
I don't want to put what I really look like: So, I like to take a natural or happy picture: I like to take one with lots of nature in it: I like to have a picture with a lot of plants; or a picture in which people are getting together; without breaking copyright.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I actually stopped reading: I am so busy now that I don't have time to read: But; I really love manga: Like Sailor Moon: I do really love manga which is age appropriate.
What do you read for pleasure?
As I said in the last question: I am currently taking care of older folk a lot; and there is a lot of noise where I am part of the time: So, I don't get the quiet; or the time to read: But, if I were to say what I might try to read if I could: I would read age appropriate manga and try to study computers and code.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I keep saying I don't have time to read: But, I love going on Facebook and Linkedin: And I use a used Netbook.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I am just starting out: So, I don't know about this.
