What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The satisfaction from readers who enjoy the final story which often may not be what they expected
What are you working on next?
A book on Innovation, I found the text books and lecturers lacking when I attended varsity it is something I have always wanted to do
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The new day is my inspiration you never know what it holds in store for you?
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am a Business Systems Analyst for Local Government, so writing is very much a hobby at this stage.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I used to love writing essays at High School, I used to derive endless pleasure churning out new stories.
What is your writing process?
Firstly I write a precise to create the framework, breaking down the elephant and from there I research and build the blocks. If I hit a roadblock I will move in a different direction until the roadblock is removed or I can change direction, I guess that's why I am an analyst.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The Works of Oscar Wilde, I still have the book on my bookshelf, as a youngster I remember The Happy Prince scared the wits out of me.
How do you approach cover design?
It is something I need to address, when I get enough sales I will crowd source the design and redo all of my books.
What do you read for pleasure?
Books on vintage aviation and motor racing in the 1970's
Describe your desk
I have a home office that is well setup with a computer and also a tablet that I use when at work or away from home and wanting to keep writing
