Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Majola village situated in a small town known as Port st Johns in the Eastern Cape province. Since I grew up in
a disadvantage area, with war where the different villages were attacking each other. There was no hope at all, so I used to spent time reading books and the bible, that is where the motivation to write came about.
When did you first start writing?
21 march 2014.
What motivated you to become an author?
I found out that there are few people who write books in African languages at my age.
What is your writing process?
I keep on writing something new each year.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote? What was it about?
Yes , a woman who sent her boyfriend to kill her husband just to please their relationship.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To write about things that are currently happening among us.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I do still remember.
What are your five favourite books, and why?
1.Amaza- It talks about current issues.
2.Akwaba- It motivates the youth stay willing and able to deal with challenges.
3. Nyana wamntu- It shows that sometimes there is no justices in country meanwhile there are those who do what ever it take to let the Justice
4.Nothing but the Truth- It reveals how our forefather's lived during apartheid era
5 Nyana wam nyan wam- it motivate everyone about education, salvation, the power of Gods. It also teach us to choose our friends wisely
