When Kasi joined Reggie and Treena (who had been married for over 20 years), she began a Master/slave relationship with Reggie. She had always wanted to be a published author, so Reggie decided to help her achieve her goals. He began setting her writing goals every week, and together they began plotting out a book. It took a year and a half for Becoming sage, their first book, to be written, but they found they enjoyed the process so much that they began writing together. When Eva joined the family in 2013, she was also interested, so she and Treena also began working on their own projects Iwith Reggie's help).

Reggie spent 16 1/2 years as a police officer (including stints as an undercover narcotics detective and a sergeant), so when he retired from that profession they decided to use his expertise to write a series based on police officers and the Masters of Striking Mammoth series was born. They are very pleased with the series and hope their readers like it as well!

Reggie and kasi are published with Omnific Publishing and also with Siren Bookstrand (as Cassidy Browning). While they're very grateful to their publishers for the experience and knowledge they've accrued (and the opportunity for Kasi to become an editor with Omnific), they've decided to pursue self-publishing as well, to see how that works for them.

All of the Naughty Ever After authors are involved in alternative relationships: polyamory, BDSM, and power exchange. They love sharing these lifestyles with readers, hopefully thereby increasing public awareness and tolerance for alternative relationships.

Fans are, of course, the best part of the writing lifestyle. The NEA authors go to several writing conferences every year as well as dozens of fetish conventions, music festivals and street fairs selling their chainmail jewelry (www.polyspleasures.com). They always love meeting and getting to know readers. Without readers there would be no reason to write!

NEA has just published their first anthology, Hot Summer Nights. It was a great experience and they are hoping to put out at least three per year. Their new self-pub series, The Masters of Striking Mammoth, should be premiering in September or October 2014 as well.

The Alexanders also have a small chainmail jewelry business (www.polyspleasures.com). They make lightweight, colorful chainmail jewelry and clothing and sell it at 25-30 events per year (fetish events, street fairs, music festivals, etc.). Cowriting is not an easy method, but the Alexanders enjoy it. They all have their own writing projects, but for collaborations, each writer takes their own part, then all parts go to Cassidy to be combined into one voice.
