Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
So, grew up in Seattle, WA. My neighborhood, Mt. Baker, was upper middle class. Hence, lawyers and doctors shared good words with me.

Now, I write my own. Also, Uncle Bob was inspirational. An editor, he always had a good book for me.
When did you first start writing?
Reading came first. Read magazines in library every day in Middle School. Wrote for the school newspaper at Bishop O'Dea High School.

The Crossier. In addition, won a writing contest that year. 1989.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Contribute to humanity. Life applied to tech. Really, stick to principles to be an influencer.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Compulsory at first. Really enjoy news reports. Feed off our attention to a story.

However, no one else does what I do. We have to do what we have to do. So, I did it.

Now I Know SEO. Found my niche. Redid it better with good feedback. Working on new projects.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords provides a platform for my work. Empowers me to provide professional products. So, a good revenue stream.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My greatest joy in writing is rereading it. Kind of like hearing ourselves talk. Rereading my work with others is fun.
What do your fans mean to you?
Feedback means a lot to me. Improves future projects. Let's me know to keep writing.
What are you working on next?
Blockchain is next. During my research the word trust comes up so much it's shocking. Obviously, cryptocurrency has a long way to go. Decentralization is another myth encountered. In any event, we need to use the blockchain to further develop humanity. Micro payments, smart contracts, and the Internet of Things need it. Really, it's going to make us more equal. Honesty and authentication are a challenge.
Who are your favorite authors?
Phillipa Gregory right now. Books are well financed and cutting edge. Something only found in indie markets until now.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Passion for life. Adventures of the day. Writing.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Fitness rules. Coding rocks. Hotspots are happening.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Search. Subscription services.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. The first story I ever wrote was about Africa. It was inspired by Where The Wild Things Are.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is to write everything out by hand. Then transfer my manuscript into a word processing program for further editing.

Rise of Plantagenet's right now. Vivid battle descriptions. History nerd stuff.
