Interview with Nitin Srivastava

What is your writing process?
I am an author by heart. I write from heart and I am moody. When my heart speaks, I started writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No I don't remember but I remember many stories which influenced me a lot.
What do you read for pleasure?
Books related to spirituality.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grow up in India and that influenced my writing, because this is a country known for spirituality and people here has an automatic inclination towards spirituality. Without spirituality what I think is a waste to even live, because then life is just rough stuff.
When did you first start writing?
I was very much interested in writing from my childhood, but I also wanted to make a career in Engineering. So, I started writing after achieving my loved career.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It is a spiritual quest. From the beginning I was bothered about real identity. Have you ever think that is your name gives you the real identification? Or, have you ever questioned that are you that small that a name can define me? These questions influenced me to write this book and I am sure that you will love this book.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing means to go deep inside, to question with my inner core and that serves as a kind of meditation for me.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fan means an inner part of me, because only an inner part can love you.
