Interview with E.Y. Laster

Published 2017-09-10.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I use the Kindle application on my phone! I'm always on the go so I pull my phone out when I'm on the train, bus etc. and read when I can!
Describe your desk
I don't own a desk. I've used glass counters at retail locations, my lap when I'm on the train or sitting in a bookstore, my bed when I'm up late and should be heading to sleep. The closest thing I have is my sofa and where I do most of my writing. I've also been known to place my laptop on a poker table that's not in use! Don't limit yourself. When you get an idea, wherever you are is your desk and you should write it down!
What's the story behind your latest book?
This is my first and latest book! I love history, action, and adventure. I live for strong female leads and unexpected heroes. I wrote what I wanted to read and see on TV because the most fantastic book no matter the subject matter will create a picture in your mind as if it's happening right before your very eyes.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are amazing and I know because I am one every time I read a book, or see a book turned into a movie, or read an amazing poem and want to support the author. I also like speaking with fans who are pursuing their own dreams of becoming an author because mentoring has always been important to me. Encouraging someone only takes a minute, but people will remember it for a lifetime.
What are you working on next?
I'm currently editing Book 2 in the series. I need Beta Readers so please reach out if you're interested!
