It is a profound expression of the feelings that go through my being. This has coincided with different states. For example: joys, sorrows, nostalgia, etc... I have found in writing a way to recognize my own being.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
It was a coincidence. In a magazine they urgently needed an article for the same day. They asked me, I agreed and found it very entertaining. I felt really good about it.
How do you approach cover design?
My wife is a designer and I have friends who are plastic artists who have helped me. I allow them to flow freely and express what they feel when they read the books. What they do always pleases me and I deeply appreciate their interest in cooperating.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment" is an intelligent, passionate work that I have read several times and it has never ceased to amaze me on every occasion.
What do you read for pleasure?
Subjects such as Ramana Maharshi, certain design writings, and the creative process of sculptors, painters and musicians. That's really interesting for me!
