Two stories! One is shifter paranormal romance that includes a surprise kicker. The kicker involves one of my favorite mythological creatures. Another is a sort of a twist on Sleeping Beauty that has two immortals debating the nature of immortality and being faced with a moral decision.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Western NC, surrounded by the beautiful Smoky Mountains. I used to go hiking a lot there. That's when I started trying to describe the details and feelings that compelled in me. The leaves in the Fall, the narrow paths, and the loud voices nearby of adults joking around. That's when I really explored every sensation to put into words.
When did you first start writing?
My mother says when I was two. I'm not sure I believe her.
