Stephen Chbosky considering The Perks of Being a Wallflower is my favorite book, R.L. Stine, Ellen Hopkins, Michael Faudet, and Lang Leav!
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Haha, I actually love being in bed. If I have to do something (eat, go to the bathroom, school, or anything like that) then I'll get out of bed. Other than that I'm most likely in bed watching some shows, reading, or writing!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I really enjoy reading; Perks of Being a Wallflower is my go-to book so I always have that around. I also enjoy watching stuff whether it's anime, kdrama, Netflix, or something that's on tv! If you know me, you'd see me eating a lot too. Not much to it, haha.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I enjoy reading, so if I come across something that looks or sounds interesting, i'll most likely read it.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I'm not quite sure, I would always write little stories in my diaries when I was younger.
What is your writing process?
I usually procrastinate, I'll sleep on the idea I want to write about and when I wake up I have my laptop, phone, or journal out and just start writing until nothing else comes to mind. Or if I'm feeling really emotional I usually have a lot to write.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Not really, I feel like it might've been a fairy tale or Dr. Seuss story though. Every book I read has some sort of impact on me.
What do you read for pleasure?
Perks of Being a Wallflower or articles about things I question about (the concept of time, psychology stuff, medical things, etc.)
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My tablet where I have Kindle downloaded or my iPhone
Describe your desk
It's a mess that consists of my laptop, chargers, books for school, journals, and Polaroids.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Perks of Being a Wallflower- In some ways I feel like I can relate to Charlie, it's well written, and it just has some kind of connection to me. The Hunger Games- it's my favorite trilogy Don't You Forget About Me- It was really interesting to me and my favorite flower is a forget me not, which the title reminds me of the flowers. Love & Misadventure- I love all of Lang Leav's books, but this one is my favorite I can't really decide on the fifth one, choosing favorites when it comes to books is quite difficult for me.
