Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up just outside of Atlanta, so I've always had a fascination with city life. Atlanta, like most cities, is called home by many different people from different parts of the world with different cultures. I've had a number of interesting experiences in Atlanta that have inspired parts of my stories.
When did you first start writing?
I've written as long as I can remember, but only recently have I realized the powerful effects of combining erotica and mystery - my two favorite genres.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest work explores our own sexual walkabout. I'm interested in how people's views towards sex change when faced with different experiences.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy writing for myself, but if others can get joy from it as well then I am even happier.
What do your fans mean to you?
The fans mean a lot. Hearing back from people on the aspects of stories they enjoyed or their own thoughts on other plots excites me greatly because it shows that the story truly lit up their imaginations.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on another erotic mystery that continues to explore sexual and personal growth. This one will be set in a very unlikely place!
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My friends, family, and fictional writing gets me out of bed every day. I enjoy what I do and I hope you, the reader, enjoys it too!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I have a number of hobbies. I like to go out with friends, meet new people, hear new stories, watch movies, and ride my bicycle (even though New York can be a dangerous place for it).
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I read a lot of different things. Most ebooks are so affordable, it is hard not to click and read. Every story offers something the last did not.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was the classic damsel in distress type. I think there might have been a dragon involved.
What is your writing process?
I write in the mornings with a light cup of coffee before the day really hits you. It is the most peaceful and productive moment of the day.
