Interview with Richard Hazel

When did you first start writing?
I've been writing since I was a teenager. I used to journal on a daily basis all through my junior high and high school years and I've always enjoyed writing.
What made you decide to write an ebook?
As an acupuncturist I need to be in the room with my patient in order to treat them. There are currently so many people who need help with pain and I thought a book on self-treating back pain and sciatica might help more people than I can treat in my clinic. There are often times when I'm speaking with a friend or family member and I'm repeating myself about how to self-treat these issues on a regular basis. So I thought if I wrote it all down and put images in it might be better than what I can explain over the phone.
I also have been heartbroken by too many stories of young people dying of heroin overdoses that would never have happened if they hadn't first been on prescription painkillers.
I'm hoping I can help someone out there that I might never see in my New York City clinic.
