Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Taylor, Michigan a city on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan. There was no real influence for my writing. One day I started writing poetry in High School and eventually moved on to other writing mediums.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in High School. I started with poetry because I did not have a real big imagination. I mainly wrote about what and how I was feeling.
What's the story behind your latest book?
There is no real story behind it. I am a huge fan of the Zombie genre and decided to write my own approach to the zombie phenomenon.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Relaxation. I am a very active person, I was not born with the ability to sit still. I write to keep my mind focused on one topic instead of dozens.
What do your fans mean to you?
Currently I don't have any fans since I have nothing published as of yet. I do have many friends excited about the release of my first novel and I hope it is enjoyable to everyone.
What are you working on next?
After I complete the Surviving Population X Series (If there is an end) I have a couple other books in mind. Both books are Non-Fiction and I hope that they will have a great impact on the readers.
Who are your favorite authors?

My life revolves around three things. My family, church, and writing. If I am not at my computer writing I am either spending time with my family or with God.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
That is a secret. :) I search through different websites and see what others are reading and what they think of the author and writing style. That's all I have to say about that.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I can't honestly say that I do. I have written so many short stories and started so many novels that it is hard to say which was my first.
What is your writing process?
I sit and put on some music or a movie. Something to make noise in the background because silence is murder. I open my laptop and start typing, I try not to think to hard on what is going down on the pages, I just keep writing. I come back at a later time after a significant portion has been written and rework the previous session.
How do you approach cover design?
I like my covers to be personal. I believe there are several hundred people who can make and design a cover better than I can. I feel I have the needed talent to create a cover for what I am writing, the look and feel that I want. I would never ask anyone to write for me so I feel I should never ask them to design the cover either.
