Erotica and romance are where my passions reside. And while the big publishing houses will publish both genres, they won't touch the sort of kinky stories I write. There's also the control factor: I get to design my own covers, fuss over formatting, and make my own promotional graphics. I decide when and where my books are available, which means I can publish them within a month of completion instead of making my readers wait half a year or more between releases.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Sharing my weird little fantasies and knowing I'm bringing a little moment or two of happiness to my readers <3 It's a hectic world, and sometimes a sexy escapist read is exactly what you need to get you through the day (or night!).
What inspires you?
I'm influenced very heavily by pornography, hentai, and my own naughty fantasies. I also take inspiration from books I like, and do my best to learn from other authors in my genre and outside it.
What is your writing process like?
Mostly I sit down and come up with a sexy scenario or character, then build a story around it. I like strong characters who can carry my plots (no matter how thin or thick) and add to their sex appeal with their personalities.
How do you approach cover design?
I want my covers to be eye catching, sexy, and pretty. I have a lot of fun designing my own covers <3
What are you working on next?
I'm usually writing several stories at once! I'm always trying to come up with a new Quickie (stories under 3k words) or one-off. My current series projects are the Demon Slave series and the Double J Ranch hucow series.
The next series I'll be adding to my collection focuses on monsterotica and follows the sexy adventures of Hannah Porter, a witch who miscasts a lust spell and ends up needing a special something from monsters in order to survive.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I normally do a search on my favorite book retailer websites, including Smashwords. Or I'll browse over on Goodreads. Sometimes I get excellent recs from friends, too.
