Interview with R.W. Perkins

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing my Freshman year in High School. My English teacher was very mean, but I discovered that she wasn't so bad to students who could write well. So I made it a mission to win her over with my writing.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords gave me a way to get my writing to the public. I may not have been able to do that otherwise.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is being able to tell a story allowing the reader to enter another "world".
What do your fans mean to you?
The reason I write, is the fans.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a Fantasy novel full of Magic, Creatures, and the fight against evil.
Who are your favorite authors?
My all time favorite Author is Terry Brooks. I have been reading the Shannara series since junior high.
