Interview with savinthegravie

What's the story behind your latest book?
In the book Earth is drifting away from the sun so temperatures drop dangerously low. I got the idea last winter when the heater in my house stopped working and I couldn't afford to fix it. I literally had to spend the entire winter bundled up in my coat and thermals because it was 52 degrees in the house. I can remember thinking 'I'm never going to be warm again.'
What are you working on next?
Collide, which is book 2 in the Catalyst series.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, if I don't have a good book, I'm not a happy camper.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
For me Goodreads is the best way to find new books, I can literally spend hours on that website.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Terlton, Oklahoma which is literally in the middle of nowhere. To get to the nearest city you had to drive a good hour. We didn't have cable or internet so I spent my childhood reading and cultivating a very active imagination, which is probably why I became a writer.
