Interview with Shawn Studer

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is sharing what I have learned with others. I believe that ideas and experiences are meant to be shared and sharing increases their power, not diminishes it. I love to teach and share what I have learned and writing allows me to share it with many more people than I could possibly do in a face-to-face environment.
What are you working on next?
I have a project with a couple of friends (who don't know each other) I haven't spoken to in 10 years, but we got in contact with each other in a matter of days through what many people would consider "coincidences"...crazy coincidences! It's a real life story about seemingly coincidental messages we get to help guide us through Life. And the story of how this project is coming about is the story of WHAT it's about!! It's going to be fun!!
Who are your favorite authors?
This is a difficult question because for me it's really about the subject. And I don't put as much importance on the author (messenger) than the subject (message).
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My mission!
How did you get into organic gardening?
I started using organic practices in my landscape years ago because I don't like the idea of using chemicals. I progressed into growing vegetables because I was doing a lot of research into our food supply and the problems associated with it. It took me a long time to realize that organic gardening was my passion! My friends and neighbors could have told you that long before I realized it!
