Interview with John Modica

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in 2010. I started attending Academy of Art University and had to take storytelling classes.
Why so few titles if you have been writing since 2010?
When I first started writing, I didn't really plan on self publishing my work. As the years went by and my writing skills improved, I decided to start looking into self publishing my work.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
After taking several storytelling classes, I decided to continue writing for fun.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
If I were to use a mobile device to read books, I would use an iPad.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is to be able to my ideas into words.
What are you working on next?
Currently, I am working on a full length book. The title of the book is called Aurora: Crisis.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
A good cup of coffee.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing, I am either playing video games, watching television, or doing homework.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I do remember the first story I wrote. I wrote only a couple of years ago for one of my storytelling classes. The story is called Aurora: Karma.
